CyberKnife

Cyberknife is the very latest in radiotherapy technology.

Invented at Stanford University, CyberKnife is a stereotactic radiosurgery machine which can deliver radiation to tumor from stereotactic thousands different angles. Its extreme accuracy, which error is less than 1mm, allows it to deliver a very high dose of radiation to the pre-determined target throughout the body, while maintaining the minimum risk of harming nearly organs and tissue.

The dose is so intense that it can cause destruction of tumor similar to an excision with a surgical knife. This brand-new technology provides an alternative to knotty cases which hardly can be handled by conventional surgery or other radiotherapy in the past.

If our Radiation Oncologist recommended for CyberKnife treatment, he will arrange you to Cyberknife Treatment Center located at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital.
